The InsuranceITPro.com web site was created in response to ideas contributed at the 2005 AAMGA Technology conference during the "Open Source From Theory to Practice" panel session.

The goal of this site is to allow communication among insurance IT professionals in order to promote development of insurance related open source software and to help establish a sense of community among insurance IT professionals.
